For the adults who grew up watching Sesame Street, these YouTube links to Sesame street songs and podcasts will likely bring back some memories. If only there was a way to capture statistics of how many of our generation learned letter names and sounds from this iconic television show.
Research tells us that when one is engaged on an emotional level, one learns and remembers things better, so curl up with your kids and enjoy some links to some classic Sesame Street letter songs with Bert and Ernie, Kermit, Big Bird, The Count, and Oscar the Grouch (to name a few).
Be warned, however. It is not all classics here. Continuing in true Jim Henson humor, grown-ups and kids alike will laugh easily at some spoofs of modern day T.V. with ‘A‘s Anatomy, ‘G‘ee (Glee), Law and Order, Special Letters’ Unit (letter M), along with a few more surprises along this journey through the alphabet!
